What we have in Ready-mix concrete (RMC) plant

Concrete Grades Overview

M7.5 Grade Concrete

  • Compressive Strength: 7.5 MPa
  • Usage: Used for non-structural purposes like leveling course, blinding concrete below footings and slabs, or temporary structures.
  • Type: Lean mix concrete

M10 Grade Concrete

  • Compressive Strength: 10 MPa
  • Usage: Pathways, kerbs, and non-load bearing structures
  • Type: Lean mix

M15 Grade Concrete

  • Compressive Strength: 15 MPa
  • Usage: Plain cement concrete (PCC) for flooring, pathways, and foundation bedding.
  • Common in: Residential construction

M20 Grade concrete

  • Compressive Strength: 20 MPa
  • Usage: Reinforced cement concrete (RCC) for beams, slabs, columns, and footings in low-rise buildings.
  • Most commonly used for: Residential and light commercial projects

M25 Grade Concrete

  • Compressive Strength: 25 MPa
  • Usage: RCC works requiring higher strength; columns, beams, slabs in high-rise buildings
  • Suitable for: Commercial and infrastructure projects.

Higher Strength Grades

These are design mix concretes, where the proportion of materials is carefully engineered based on the specific strength and durability requirements of the project.

M30 Grade Concrete

  • Compressive Strength: 30 MPa
  • Usage: Heavy-duty pavements, bridges, and multi-storey buildings
  • Engineered for: Moderate structural loads with increased durability

M35 Grade Concrete

  • Compressive Strength: 35 MPa
  • Usage: Industrial floors, marine structures, and high-rise constructions
  • Known for: Superior durability and crack resistance

M40 Grade Concrete

  • Compressive Strength: 40 MPa
  • Usage: Precast elements, foundations in high-load zones
  • Preferred in: Infrastructure and highway projects

M45 Grade Concrete

  • Compressive Strength: 45 MPa
  • Usage: Specialized RCC work in high-rise or complex structures
  • Common in: Airport runways, water-retaining structures

M50 to M60 Grades

  • Compressive Strength: 50–60 MPa
  • Usage: High-performance concrete for bridges, skyscrapers, and critical infrastructure
  • Features: High early strength, reduced permeability, excellent durabili
